  • Island Hiking Trails
  • Wildlife is everywhere you look. Bald eagles, hundreds of different birds, deer, and so much more. It is not uncommon to see a bear taking an afternoon swim from one island to the next on a summer day
  • Visit the Last One Room Public School – still holding regular classes
  • Attend church services at St. Luke’s NW Angle Church
  • 4th July Celebration Island Style – Spend the week boating, fishing, and relaxing in the islands. Enjoy the fireworks display at Young’s Bay
  • Most Northern Golf Course in Lower 48 – Located on the mainland 12 miles away from the lodge at 9394 Golf Course Dr. NW Angle Inlet, MN
  • Enjoy a day trip to Kenora, Ontario located 40 miles northeast of Oak Island.  A small city on the bay.  The boat ride is exceptionally beautiful through the islands.  Kenora has an excellent farmers market every Wednesday mid June through late September at the Harbourfront. Take a tour of the Lake of the Woods Brewery, snap a picture with Musky the Muskie and Loonie the Bear, check out the James Mcmillan tugboat and more.

  • Splish and splash! Bring your boat! We have thousands of sheltered and vast areas to enjoy water skiing & tubing

  • Over 500 Miles of Groomed Trails right out our back door – NW Angle Edge Riders Snowmobile Club and Lake of the Woods Drifters
  • Edge Riders Snowmobile Rally – Feb or March
  • Visit the most northernmost point Marker at Young’s Bay
