We offer you an excellent opportunity for diversified fishing. Walleye, one of the most sought after fresh water fish due to its unsurpassed eating quality, are abundant in Lake of the Woods. Looking for hard fast action? Try your hand at Northern fishing. These aggressive fighters commonly top out at 10 pounds or more. Pound for pound, the Smallmouth Bass is one of the greatest acrobats and fighters of the fishing world. Try any of the reefs and weed bed lines for lots of action. Yes we also have the King of freshwater fish. The Muskie with it's hard fight and large size are waiting for anyone who dares to throw a lure into it's domain.
Duck Hunting
Lake of the Woods is situated on the Mississippi Flyway and provides a natural gathering area for the southbound flight. Our natural breeding habitant, combined with the shallow feeding areas and an abundance of wild rice, provide the duck hunter with opportunities for local ducks like Mallards, Teal and Woodies.
